On Letting Go 10 Year Anniversary

This is how a reunion should feel like.
An opener that can capture the feelings right before a big act, an older act making a comeback, and the final act. The combination of the three makes each feel like watching a different act of a play. The opener is not everyone’s favorite but should get you excited. Turnover was the main reason I ended up going to the reunion show. I was shot off in a rocket and into the stars. Turnover is molding into a stargazing slow punk band with their new album Peripheral Vision. The band stood their with relaxed confidence playing each song smoothly to the next. While the anticipation increased for the crowd for mewithoutYou, they were able to crank up the vibes from Turnover. The band lit a fire and danced around with it. They played homage to their first album I Never Said I Was Brave and played a few songs. While lead singer Aaron reminded the crowd that they have been a band for `5 years. As mewithoutYou came to an end, the crowd was in murmurs wondering what was hidden on stage. Time slowly dragged on and the props were exposed as two blank, white spheres. Circa Survive has finally made their appearance while the iconic hot air balloon illustration appeared on the spheres. mewithoutYou passed their torch onto Anthony Greene and he turned it into a bonfire. The atmosphere was glowing with excitement while the room was becoming alive. Each song exploded and transformed into one another. Anthony Greene became one with the crowd and the crowd morphed into the band.
This is what a reunion should be like.
